"We’ve been getting bulls from Mike and Cath at Riverton Hereford Stud since 2017. The bulls are outstanding, their calves are born easily, grow well, and are always in high demand.
We use the yearling bulls over our rising 2 year old heifers for spring mating. The 2 and 3 year olds are put over the cows after three weeks of AI. This system has worked extremely well for us as it provides a reliable income stream in July and August, with very few calves ever ending up on the bobby truck.
